Akshat Shahjade Dell Champs National Winner 2017

Akshat Shahjade of MYP 2 (Grade 7) brings laurels to Choithram International by winning the National Level Round of Dell Champs 2017.


The journey of Dell Champs competition started in September 2017 from a school level round of quiz contest. From there, Akshat Shahjade of MYP 2 and Bhavesh Rochlani of MYP 4 (Grade 9) moved on to represent Choithram International at the City level.

The City Level Project was to create a video or powerpoint presentation on the given topic.  Akshat Shahjade created a wonderful video explaining how computers help in education and he won the City level round. It is an interesting fact that Choithram International has been a winner at the City Level Round of Dell Champs and has been representing Indore at the National Level Round for past three years.


This year the competition was more challenging as students were asked to prepare a video or presentation on the topic "How computers changed our way of life". In addition to the submission of the video, there was a webinar to test the student’s knowledge.

We are pleased to announce that Akshat Shahjade of Choithram International has mastered this nationwide competition and has been declared winner of the Dell Champs 2017 India competition. He is being awarded a Dell All-In-One Personal Computer and a Scholarship of Rs. 1,00,000/-.

  Building effective parent-teacher partnership  An orientation session was conducted for the parents and students on Saturday, 7th August 2021. The purpose of this orientation was to enlighten the parents and keep them informed about the intricate details of the MYP Assessment procedure and the IB way of the teaching-learning process. IDL Session in MYP 1

   ‘Dead Men Do Tell Tales’.- William R. Maples Interdisciplinary education allows students to see different perspectives and work in groups with the synthesis of disciplines the ultimate goal. Choithram International took an initiative to celebrate IDL week by indulging in Interdisciplinary Teaching Learning activities. CI teachers decided to take teaching a step further by connecting their ongoing topics with other disciplines. This would help students to understand why they are learning a particular topic and how they can apply their knowledge gained in real life.  Ongoing topic ‘Skeletal System’ in MYP 1 Biology was connected with Forensics wherein students got to know that the skeleton speaks a lot about the gender and age of the deceased and also the reason of the death of a person. Achievements of MYP Learners in Silver Zone Olympiads 2016-17

Achievements of students of Choithram International in Silver Zone Olympiads are worth our appreciation. The Silver Zone International Talent Hunt Olympiad was conducted on 12th January 2017. Achievers of this exam include the following students: Akshat Shahjade MYP 1 scored 95.17 % and secured school rank 1st. He was awarded with gold medal. Sarthak Rathi of MYP1 has secured school rank 2nd and received the Silver medal Venkat Suprabath Bitra from MYP 5 has scored 72.7 % and secured 1st rank. He was awarded with Gold medal. Silver Zone International French Olympiad was conducted on 15 Dec. 2016. Achievers of this exam are the following students: Akshat Shahjade of MYP 1 (class VI) scored 97.73 % and secured school rank 1st. He was awarded the Gold medal.
