MYP 1 and new students’ parents’ induction on 13 July 2017

The middle school is a phase when a child develops the most socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually.  Induction for the Middle Years Programme for the new parents took place on the 13th of July.

The Head of School, Mr Dilip Vasu, addressed the parents and emphasised on e-learning, guiding students to use technology wisely at home, understanding difference between right and wrong. He also discussed how the school is preparing the kids for the 21st century and how parents can actively help their wards at home

The induction, led by Akshat Shahjade and Sarthak Rathi of MYP 2, with support from the Programme Coordinators, helped the parents to understand and ease the transition from the Primary Year Programme to the Middle Year Programme (MYP). It also familiarised them with the IB MYP philosophy, the MYP assessments, the important core elements of MYP – service and Personal Project.

The parents actively interacted and gave their ideas on how to improvise learning.
