Yogesh Rajani's dream trip to Madrid

Yogesh Rajani, a student of Choithram International, aged 13 years, went to Madrid in Spain, on 28 June 2017. He got a wonderful opportunity to join ‘Fundacion Real Madrid Campus Experience’ to be able to further his dream - a career in football in the future.



This was for a fortnight when he underwent training in 3 different areas: natural grass (at ‘Villaviciosa de Odòn Camp’), artificial grass (at ‘Municipal Soccer Field’), and wet grass of rainy days (at Valdebebas ‘La Ciudad Real Madrid’ - the training center of Real Madrid Players).


He also visited Real Madrid Stadium, Santiago Bernabeau, where he met a football player named "Carvajal" from the Real Madrid team. During his stay in Madrid, he enjoyed himself with youngsters who had come from various parts of the world. They were accommodated at ‘Universidad Autonomous Erasmo Residence of Madrid’ during this period.



At the Closing Ceremony of the camp, on 15 July 2017, Yogesh was awarded a Real Madrid Official Kit, a Photo Souvenir and the Camp Certificate. After a memorable sojourn at Madrid, he returned home on 20 July 2017.

  Building effective parent-teacher partnership  An orientation session was conducted for the parents and students on Saturday, 7th August 2021. The purpose of this orientation was to enlighten the parents and keep them informed about the intricate details of the MYP Assessment procedure and the IB way of the teaching-learning process. The session included orientation on 'Celebration of learning' in the form of IDL (Interdisciplinary learning). IDL Session in MYP 1

   ‘Dead Men Do Tell Tales’.- William R. Maples Interdisciplinary education allows students to see different perspectives and work in groups with the synthesis of disciplines the ultimate goal. Choithram International took an initiative to celebrate IDL week by indulging in Interdisciplinary Teaching Learning activities. CI teachers decided to take teaching a step further by connecting their ongoing topics with other disciplines. This would help students to understand why they are learning a particular topic and how they can apply their knowledge gained in real life.  Ongoing topic ‘Skeletal System’ in MYP 1 Biology was connected with Forensics wherein students got to know that the skeleton speaks a lot about the gender and age of the deceased and also the reason of the death of a person. Achievements of MYP Learners in Silver Zone Olympiads 2016-17

Achievements of students of Choithram International in Silver Zone Olympiads are worth our appreciation. The Silver Zone International Talent Hunt Olympiad was conducted on 12th January 2017. Achievers of this exam include the following students: Akshat Shahjade MYP 1 scored 95.17 % and secured school rank 1st. He was awarded with gold medal. Sarthak Rathi of MYP1 has secured school rank 2nd and received the Silver medal Venkat Suprabath Bitra from MYP 5 has scored 72.7 % and secured 1st rank. He was awarded with Gold medal. Silver Zone International French Olympiad was conducted on 15 Dec. 2016. Achievers of this exam are the following students: Akshat Shahjade of MYP 1 (class VI) scored 97.73 % and secured school rank 1st. He was awarded the Gold medal.
