MYP 2 Assembly on 31 August 2017

The assembly presented by MYP 2 students on 31 August 2017 was full of enchanting performances. The assembly started with an enthralling dance performance extolling the virtues of Lord Ganesha on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Utsav.

The aim of the assembly was to spread awareness for appropriate disposal of the waste that originates from man-made materials, as a part of the MYP-2 students ‘service as action’.  It also connects with their Science curriculum ‘Man Made Materials’. They exhibited their service through a skit, self-composed songs, videos and PPT. An instrumental musical performance showcased the inherent talent of the students. Enthusiasm of the students was appreciable.

The demonstration of very good communication, organisation and self-management skills was observed. The students developed ‘Communicator’ and Caring’ IB learner profiles through preparation and presentation of the assembly. The assembly was culminated with a video demonstrating the service by the students and their further planning.
