MYP celebration of International Dot Day on 15 September 2017

Creativity exists in everyone. Celebration to harness the creativity that is latent in each of us is done through 'International Dot Day' on 15 September every year.




The inspiration to celebrate the day by students and teachers globally has been drawn from the picture story book 'THE DOT' by Philip Reynolds.



The MYP students of our school felt it was a wonderful way to express their creativity, courage and collaboration, as it helped each one of them to explore their creativity, whether they were able to draw or not, with courage through collaboration.

   ‘Dead Men Do Tell Tales’.- William R. Maples Interdisciplinary education allows students to see different perspectives and work in groups with the synthesis of disciplines the ultimate goal. Choithram International took an initiative to celebrate IDL week by indulging in Interdisciplinary Teaching Learning activities. CI teachers decided to take teaching a step further by connecting their ongoing topics with other disciplines. MYP Orientation Session

  Building effective parent-teacher partnership  An orientation session was conducted for the parents and students on Saturday, 7th August 2021. The purpose of this orientation was to enlighten the parents and keep them informed about the intricate details of the MYP Assessment procedure and the IB way of the teaching-learning process. The session included orientation on 'Celebration of learning' in the form of IDL (Interdisciplinary learning). Whereby the parents were apprised about the scope for transfer of learning from the boundaries of one subject to the other subjects and to real life as well.  Parents were also updated about the SEL program which can help students better understand and identify their emotions; develop empathy, increase self-control and manage stress. The Zoom meeting was very informative for all the attendees. Achievements of MYP Learners in Silver Zone Olympiads 2016-17

Achievements of students of Choithram International in Silver Zone Olympiads are worth our appreciation. The Silver Zone International Talent Hunt Olympiad was conducted on 12th January 2017. Achievers of this exam include the following students: Akshat Shahjade MYP 1 scored 95.17 % and secured school rank 1st. He was awarded with gold medal. Sarthak Rathi of MYP1 has secured school rank 2nd and received the Silver medal Venkat Suprabath Bitra from MYP 5 has scored 72.7 % and secured 1st rank. He was awarded with Gold medal. Silver Zone International French Olympiad was conducted on 15 Dec. 2016. Achievers of this exam are the following students: Akshat Shahjade of MYP 1 (class VI) scored 97.73 % and secured school rank 1st. He was awarded the Gold medal.
