MYP Interhouse Extempore Competition on 9 November 2017

Extempore is a speech spoken with clarity that tests one's imagination and the ability to speak impromptu, thereby impressing the audience. It builds one's self-confidence as one faces an audience and develops public speaking skills.

Our enthusiastic MYP learners took part in the Extempore Competition today under two categories of participants - Junior and Senior. One could feel the excitement, nervousness and confidence palpably in the air. As the competition drew to an end, some learners from the audience also jumped into the fray to speak brilliantly.

The winners from the Senior category were:
Sujay Jain from Tagore House in the first place; Rajvardhan Sisodia from Lincoln House in the second place; and Kartavya Sharma, Janvi Karnawat from Mandela House and Cheshta Chhabra from Gandhi House in the third place.

The winners from the Junior Category were:
Akshat Shahjade from Tagore House in the first place; Yajvin Puetz from Lincoln House in the second place; and Aarushi Pathak from Gandhi House in the third place.

Accolades to all the winners.
