An experience with pottery

Almost everyone in MYP-2 had done or seen pottery beforehand.  Even then, the students were keen to have a deeper understanding of pottery. So, the pottery session was led by a specialist, Mr. Sanjay. It helped to polish the students crude skills and allowed all of them craft wonderful pots with some assistance from the resource person. The results were outstanding, especially from the ones who were previously novice in this art.

Some comments from the students:

“I think the workshop was very interesting for me, because we learnt how to create proper pots, and everybody got a chance to make the pots. We were the creators and this was an achievement.”
-Sarthak Rathi
“This session was of two days, and these days were some of the best days that I would really like to remember.”

-Sharanya Garg

“This learning has been exemplary and we crave for more of such workshops to effectively cultivate the skills willing to be learnt.”

-Akshat Shahjade
