Eco-friendly HOLI
Today, MYP 2A celebrated the first day of the festival of colours - Holika Dahan - the victory of goodness over evil - through a video of Hiranyakashipu, Holika and Prahlad; and also - HOLI - divine love (raaslila) through a a song and dance.
The ways one can celebrate a safe and eco-friendly Holi and avoid the chemical colours was stressed upon and importance of ‘National Science Day’ was highlighted. To spread awareness for proper waste disposal, a message was delivered through a skit that everybody should take the responsibility for appropriate waste management.
In this way, the students demonstrated their Communication and Self-management skills along with the IB learner profile ‘Caring’.
