"World Water Day" Assembly by MYP 1 Students

It takes a lot of blue to stay green.
As March 22, 2018 is celebrated as ‘World Water Day’, the students of MYP 1A enthusiastically selected water conservation as the theme for their assembly.
The importance of celebrating this day was highlighted through a video. Information was also shared about the Science curriculum aligned Service as Action that connects with the unit ‘Environment’, which focused on globalization and sustainability. Thus, they exhibited skills like self-management and communication skills as well as ‘Caring’ learner profile.
‘International Day of Happiness’ was on March 20, 2018 and it was commemorated by spreading laughter along with a meaningful message through a poem and a skit that true happiness lies not in life’s luxurious things but in small little things like bringing a smile on someone’s face.
