Fairness and Development: Interaction between communities.

August 12th being ‘World Elephant Day’, nothing could have been better than a visit to Kamla Nehru Zoo.
MYP 1 visited the zoo to observe different adaptations in various animals that enable them to survive in a particular habitat. They were briefed about how 'Human Interference' is damaging their habitat and thereby hampering 'a fair chance to develop'.
Students interacted with the zoo official who appraised students about the importance of existence of zoo in biodiversity cycle. Conservation is essential to protect endangered animals, which is being taken care by ‘Zoo’.
Students developed 'Caring' learner Profile and demonstrated 'Self-management' skills.
It was a fun-filled learning experience wherein students gathered information from the natural surrounding.
