Plethora of Creativity

Personal Project is the culminating part of MYP Programme and today, i.e. December 15, 2018 was the red letter day for the MYP 5 students to exhibit their product and definitely their diligence and patience paid off. They delighted the parents, staff and fellow students through their findings, research and ultimately the final product. The Personal Project encouraged the students to take ownership of their learning and showcased various learner profile attributes and skills that they have been exposed to as MYP learners.
There was a wide array of products that enthralled the audience, ranging from creating an ibook, novella, travelogues, home designing, evolution of dance forms, astrology in real world, dance drama on sexual abuse, game designing, education for slums, artwork and youtube videos on how to use a smart phone etc. The project encouraged the self – directed inquiry within a global context and the students demonstrated the skills and knowledge required to complete the project over an extended period of time.
The presence of the parents was a big motivation for the students and the appreciation they received uplifted their spirits.
