Speak up, stop discrimination
The best way to embark on a new day
is to invoke God through our honest prayers and so did the students of MYP 5 B
begin with the assembly by seeking blessings from the Almighty. They presented
the assembly on December 06, 2018, Thursday, focusing on the significance of
the Human Rights day which is celebrated on December 10 every year and the role
of human rights in an individual’s life. It was a collective effort of all the
students to make others aware of their rights. The assembly had a wonderful
power point presentation on the same, coupled with an enlightening speech.
Human rights are inherent to all human beings, irrespective of one’s
nationality, place of residence, gender, national or ethnic origin, colour,
religion, language, or any other status. All are equally entitled to human
rights without discrimination. The assembly culminated with the same thought of
equality and oneness.
