Training session of MUN

A training session of MUN was organised for the Choithram International students. The trainer is Chinmaya Prasanna from Worldview Global who has an immense experience in MUN debating and has won several accolades from Best delegate award to High Commendation in various MUN's across the country.The students enthusiastically discussed the UN-USA rules of procedure applied for the HMUN for debating in the MUN.The students were able to clarify all their doubts related to the Position papers as well.

Achievements of students of Choithram International in Silver Zone Olympiads are worth our appreciation. The Silver Zone International Talent Hunt Olympiad was conducted on 12th January 2017. Achievers of this exam include the following students: Akshat Shahjade MYP 1 scored 95.17 % and secured school rank 1st. He was awarded with gold medal. Sarthak Rathi of MYP1 has secured school rank 2nd and received the Silver medal Venkat Suprabath Bitra from MYP 5 has scored 72.7 % and secured 1st rank. He was awarded with Gold medal. Silver Zone International French Olympiad was conducted on 15 Dec. 2016. Achievers of this exam are the following students: Akshat Shahjade of MYP 1 (class VI) scored 97.73 % and secured school rank 1st. He was awarded the Gold medal. Majestic Maheshwar on Children's Day 2017

The students of Choithram International from MYP 1-5 went on a much-awaited trip on the occasion of Children’s Day. They went to visit the scenic beauty of Maheshwar, known for its historical monuments, scenic beauty, and attractions.  The city of Maheshwar is located in Khargon district, Madhya Pradesh. It lies on the northern bank of the Narmada River. Maheshwar, known as Mahishmati in the earlier days, was the capital of Malwa during Maratha Holkar’s reign (till 1818). ‘Maheshwar’ literally means Great God in Hindi, which refers to Lord Shiva. The students learnt a lot many things about the historical place and its religious significance. The beauty of the gorgeous temples and ancient buildings were well noticed and appreciated by the students and the teachers. Fenugreek (methi) cultivation in school herbal garden

“As you sow, so shall you reap.” This famous proverb held true as our students of MYP 3 began their mission to convert a part of the barren land within our school campus into a herbal garden. The students prepared the land and sowed fenugreek (methi) seeds on 1 July 2017. They prepared the seed bed using school compost which is being produced from the school kitchen waste. Their hard work paid off when the entire cultivated land filled with fenugreek plants which they picked, cleaned and handed over to the school kitchen. The next day, the students, teacher and other staff members savoured hot ‘methi paranthas’ prepared from the fenugreek (methi) collected from the herbal garden.
