Women : the real architects of society

“A woman is the one who is wonderful, outstanding, marvelous, adorable and nice to the situations she faces and comes out in flying colors.”
The young intellects of MYP 1 B presented a stupendous assembly on Thursday, March 07, 2019 wherein they focused on the role of women and significance of International Women’s Day. The day holds a remarkable prominence to celebrate the indomitable will of the women who withstand every situation that comes in life, with grace.
The myriad of acts presented was commendable as it enlarged the creative front of the students and offered them a chance to showcase the best of their abilities. The events were all grounded in the essence of paying reverence to women who are indispensable parts of our lives. The poem elevated everyone’s spirits to appreciate the elegance of a woman and so did the power point presentation on International Women’s Day. The eminence of the day was further emphasized by an emotional skit and dance presentation by the students. Also, there was a quiz conducted that urged the audience to churn their brains and recognize different logos. The symphony of the tunes of an instrumental performance echoed everywhere and mesmerized all. The assembly culminated with the felicitation of the zealous and enthusiastic winners and participants of various sports events.
In nitty – gritty, the event fixated the audience and their alacrity to accentuate the vitality of the role of women in our lives was crystal clear. The skills which were developed through the assembly were “Communication” and also enhanced the learner profiles “Communicator” and “Thinker”.

   ‘Dead Men Do Tell Tales’.- William R. Maples Interdisciplinary education allows students to see different perspectives and work in groups with the synthesis of disciplines the ultimate goal. MYP Orientation Session

  Building effective parent-teacher partnership  An orientation session was conducted for the parents and students on Saturday, 7th August 2021. The purpose of this orientation was to enlighten the parents and keep them informed about the intricate details of the MYP Assessment procedure and the IB way of the teaching-learning process. The session included orientation on 'Celebration of learning' in the form of IDL (Interdisciplinary learning). Whereby the parents were apprised about the scope for transfer of learning from the boundaries of one subject to the other subjects and to real life as well.  Parents were also updated about the SEL program which can help students better understand and identify their emotions; develop empathy, increase self-control and manage stress. Achievements of MYP Learners in Silver Zone Olympiads 2016-17

Achievements of students of Choithram International in Silver Zone Olympiads are worth our appreciation. The Silver Zone International Talent Hunt Olympiad was conducted on 12th January 2017. Achievers of this exam include the following students: Akshat Shahjade MYP 1 scored 95.17 % and secured school rank 1st. He was awarded with gold medal. Sarthak Rathi of MYP1 has secured school rank 2nd and received the Silver medal Venkat Suprabath Bitra from MYP 5 has scored 72.7 % and secured 1st rank. He was awarded with Gold medal. Silver Zone International French Olympiad was conducted on 15 Dec. 2016. Achievers of this exam are the following students: Akshat Shahjade of MYP 1 (class VI) scored 97.73 % and secured school rank 1st. He was awarded the Gold medal.
