Creativity has no precincts

“Creativity is the greatest expression of liberty.” – Bryant H. McGill
Creativity is the innate attribute which one needs to recognize and utilize constructively. Keeping the same spirit, MYP 2 A and B held the joint responsibility and presented a gamut of acts during the assembly on Thursday, September 26, 2019. The myriad of acts offered fair opportunities to all to show their caliber and ingenuity. With the onset of the festive season, the young learners provided a wonderful start by paying reverence to Goddess Durga through a skit. The entire event revolved around the Global Context - Personal and Cultural Expressions, under which there was an array of presentations that brought forth the faculties of the students. The multi – faceted apprentices recited a poem in Punjabi language to promote mother tongue language along with the expression of school life in the form of a wonderful English poem. The added charm to the event was a dance performance where in various incarnations of the deity during the festival Navratri were emphasized through a Bengali song. The assembly provided ample prospects to the students to develop Communication and Social Skills, and Risk taker, Balanced and Communicator as the IB learner profiles.
