Friendship Day Virtual Celebration

“Friends are the family you choose.” Jess C. Scott

To mark the special occasion of International Friendship Day, the students of class MYP 5B presented an exceptional assembly on August 5, 2021, with an aim to honor friends and friendship in a virtual way.

The beginning of the assembly was marked by a bracing Ganesh Vandana in the remembrance of the almighty, followed by a refreshing and entertaining quiz on recognizing some of the remarkable fictional friendship duos. Continued by a knowledgeable presentation on ATL skills and the importance of their development followed by the compelling news wizard quiz.

The assembly presentation not only gave students an opportunity to enhance their communication skills but also develop their social skills. Research, thinking and self-management skills were also established throughout the process of planning the event, contemplating, and refining ideas to their best potential.

The culmination was distinguished by another stunning dance performance lighting up the audience. The assembly showcased the collaborative efforts put in by the class and was truly a blend of exuberance and learning.
