CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE -2021

“It isn’t enough to talk about peace. One must believe in it. And it isn’t enough to believe in it. One must work at it.” - Eleanor Roosevelt.

Peace begins with a smile truly quoted by mother Teresa. Peace means freedom from disturbance. Peace doesn’t mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

Keeping this thought in mind International Day of Peace was celebrated in Choithram International with great enthusiasm on the theme, “Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world”.

As a part of our ongoing Service Program-Vivaसृति, students contributed by designing posters, writing poems, creating memes, and presenting motivational videos that depicted how we all have shown resilience to transform our world into one that is more equal, more just, equitable, inclusive, sustainable, and healthier.
