Coding - Body Systems

Learning to write programs stretches your mind and helps you think better, creates a way of thinking about things that I think is helpful in all domains. by —Bill Gates

It is well said our body and mind are the most creative during childhood and have the potential to grasp the most. Keeping this in mind, students of MYP2 coding were guided to understand the steps of programming (coding) during the Science lesson, by Ms. Suzanne, who is an English and coding facilitator at Amsterdam. Subsequently, the students were prompted to run the program for Body systems by making some changes in the existing coding steps. Students enjoyed coding while applying it in creating body systems. Students demonstrated thinking skills and showed inquirer attributes of the learner profile.
