MYP 4 students explored and inquired into the relationship between the three thermodynamic variables Pressure, Volume and Temperature using a phet simulation. Phet simulation is open source and is easily accessible on all devices. Students used the screen recording option to demonstrate their learning from the simulation.

Students demonstrate their learning by first exploring the simulation at their own pace and then screen recording their understanding and explain and reason out the phenomena of how and why Pressure changes with temperature and so on.

Achievements of students of Choithram International in Silver Zone Olympiads are worth our appreciation. The Silver Zone International Talent Hunt Olympiad was conducted on 12th January 2017.    ‘Dead Men Do Tell Tales’.- William R. Maples Interdisciplinary education allows students to see different perspectives and work in groups with the synthesis of disciplines the ultimate goal. Choithram International took an initiative to celebrate IDL week by indulging in Interdisciplinary Teaching Learning activities. CI teachers decided to take teaching a step further by connecting their ongoing topics with other disciplines. This would help students to understand why they are learning a particular topic and how they can apply their knowledge gained in real life.  Ongoing topic ‘Skeletal System’ in MYP 1 Biology was connected with Forensics wherein students got to know that the skeleton speaks a lot about the gender and age of the deceased and also the reason of the death of a person. Majestic Maheshwar on Children's Day 2017

The students of Choithram International from MYP 1-5 went on a much-awaited trip on the occasion of Children’s Day. They went to visit the scenic beauty of Maheshwar, known for its historical monuments, scenic beauty, and attractions.  The city of Maheshwar is located in Khargon district, Madhya Pradesh. It lies on the northern bank of the Narmada River. Maheshwar, known as Mahishmati in the earlier days, was the capital of Malwa during Maratha Holkar’s reign (till 1818). ‘Maheshwar’ literally means Great God in Hindi, which refers to Lord Shiva. The students learnt a lot many things about the historical place and its religious significance. The beauty of the gorgeous temples and ancient buildings were well noticed and appreciated by the students and the teachers.
