“It is our collective and individual responsibility to preserve and tend to the environment in which we all live.” ― Dalai Lama Students had an enriching experience on the 1st of February, 2020 when they went on a field trip to Animal Rehabilitation and Protection Front Research Centre, Indore as part of their ecology course. Connecting with nature is the first step in creating a consciousness in young minds about environmental conservation and this trip gave our thoughtful learners an opportunity to become aware about minute and significant details of certain species of plants and animals. They also gained some useful information on agricultural practices, water harvesting systems and organic farming.  The trip not only helped them connect with nature, but also fostered scientific inquiry, literacy and environmental stewardship.

Basant Panchami, also known as Vasant Panchami is celebrated in reverence to the Hindu deity Goddess ‘Saraswati’, who is the epitome of learning, music and art. Our juveniles of MYP 1A presented an assembly on 30th January, 2020 as a coalescence of the momentousness of Vasant Panchami and the 72nd commemoration of the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhiji. The vivacious youth of MYP 1A tried to bring forth their creative skills through their innovative performances and stunned everyone with the vibrancy they indulged in their presentations. It was surprisingly wonderful to see such young minds bringing noteworthy revisions before the audience, thus respecting religious beliefs and the nation. Our agil e and able students gave extremely impressive demonstrations of complex yoga postures along with explanations to a spellbound audience.
